Refund procedure for unused
passenger tickets
1) No refund is admissible under the rules for lost tickets.(even
subsequently fund).
2) Refund of Tickets on which no reservation has been made:-
Situation
a) In case no room in train and ticket is returned within 3 hours of
train departure.
Full refunded
b) When journey is not commenced and ticket is surrendered within 2
hours of train departure.
Rs 5 clerk age charge
3) Refunded of unused tickets on which reservation has been made:-
a)(i) If journey has not been commenced and ticket is surrendered within
three hours after departure of the train.
50% Deduction
or
ii) If reserved accommodation is got cancelled and ticket is surrendered
24 hours or less than 24 hours before departure of the train.
b) If reserved accommodation is cancelled and tickets are surrendered
more than 24 hours but within 48 hours before departure of the train
30%

c) If reserved accommodation
is cancelled and ticket is surrendered more thatn 48 hours before
departure of the train.

d) In cases other than A to C above, the ticket should be delivered to
ticket collector on duty within 12 hours after departure of the train
and ticket collector’s receipt CM-327 should be obtained. Application
for refund along with above receipt should be sent to the decisional
Superintendent of the ticket issuing office or th the Chief Commercial
Manager/PBU, P.R. Headquarters Office, Lahore, Refund will be allowed in
special circumstance only.

Note: Reservation free in all cases A to D above will be deducted in
full. If tickets are surrendered after working hours of reservation
office/agency, refund will be allowed up to 10 AM of next working day of
ticket Issuing Office/Agency provided the passenger produces
cancellation slip issued by the Ticket Collector/Reservation
Supervisor/Station Master on duty certifying to the effect that journey
has not been commenced.
